There is a wide network of alternative universes in this fantastical setting, each diverging, and derivative of the world with the true light. All the others have come about based on the choices and actions of the flawed beings that inhabit them all. A mysterious force known as the “One true light” links these worlds together, with its ebbs and flows like an almighty tide that facilitate the transfer and transmutation of data and matter and perceived reality.
The “Gatherers” seek to collect the Charmed Elves before they can truly make a difference. The Gatherers are a race of creatures with voracious appetites and with the innate ability to freely navigate the the light and the sea of life amid the parallel worlds below the firmament, as well as the ability to create and affect multiple realities at one time.
